About this colour

Sunburst Orange, paint code WA913L

GM Cobalt: paint code WA913L Sunburst Orange

Sunburst Orange is the metallic pearl orange that GM lists under paint code WA913L, used from 2005 to 2007.

The same paint also appears as Fusion Orange and under the codes 56, 33C, 33B and WA332N. Other GM models in WA913L: G5 (2007).

This finish combines metallic flake and pearl. Work in thin coats, stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and let each coat dry before the next. Light and bright shades cover primer slowly, so a deep chip needs two or three thin coats.

The paint code is usually on a label in the driver's door frame, under the bonnet or in the boot.

We mix WA913L Sunburst Orange to order and ship it within 24 hours with free tracked delivery. Choose Basic for the pen with needle and brush, Standard for pen and polish paste, or Complete for pen, polish paste, microfibre cloth and glove.

Is this an exact colour match?

Yes. It is mixed to your official colour code, and every order is mixed by hand to order.

If your car's paint is older or faded, the result can vary slightly with age, sun exposure and surface condition.

What kind of damage is this best for?

It is best for small chips, scratches and scuffs.

Deeper damage down to bare metal or plastic may need extra preparation, such as primer or filler, for the cleanest result.

How do I use it, and do I need clear coat?

For most small repairs, apply the paint in thin coats and let each coat dry properly.

Clear coat is usually not needed for small chips and scratches when the paint is applied carefully.

For the best result, do not wash the repaired area for 24–48 hours.
