Paint code 23G on a Subaru stands for Light Blue, a metallic blue, used from 2003 to 2006.
Metallic paint contains aluminium flake, so stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and leave the wet paint alone. For chips, set small dots with the needle. Dark shades show every ridge: build the chip up until it is level, then polish once the paint has cured.
