Paint code 432 on a Renault stands for Bleu Methyl, a metallic pearl blue, in use since 1995.
It is also known as Bleu Methyl 2ED.. Renault used the same paint on the Twingo (1997–2011), Clio (1997–2011), Kangoo (1999–2006), Kangoo Van (1999–2006) and Avantime (2003).
This finish combines metallic flake and pearl. Work in thin coats, stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and let each coat dry before the next. Dark shades show every ridge: build the chip up until it is level, then polish once the paint has cured.
