Black is the metallic black that Mitsubishi lists under paint code X47, in use since 2022.
On labels and in workshop systems you may also find it as Diamond Black or as AL2MB, CMX10047 and RC7KB.
Metallic paint contains aluminium flake, so stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and leave the wet paint alone. For chips, set small dots with the needle. Dark shades show every ridge: build the chip up until it is level, then polish once the paint has cured.
