About this colour
Kage Blue, paint code A56
Mitsubishi Eclipse: paint code A56 Kage Blue
Kage Blue is the metallic pearl blue that Mitsubishi lists under paint code A56, used from 2007 to 2008.
On labels and in workshop systems you may also find it as Still Blue or as CUA10056. Other Mitsubishi models in A56: Galant (2007–2008) and Spyder (2007–2008).
Where to find the code on a Mitsubishi: vehicle information code plate on the front passenger door sill; the exterior colour code is on it. Step-by-step guide
This finish combines metallic flake and pearl. Work in thin coats, stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and let each coat dry before the next. Dark shades show every ridge: build the chip up until it is level, then polish once the paint has cured.
We mix A56 Kage Blue to order and ship it within 24 hours with free tracked delivery. Choose Basic for the pen with needle and brush, Standard for pen and polish paste, or Complete for pen, polish paste, microfibre cloth and glove.

If your car's paint is older or faded, the result can vary slightly with age, sun exposure and surface condition.
What kind of damage is this best for?
It is best for small chips, scratches and scuffs.
Deeper damage down to bare metal or plastic may need extra preparation, such as primer or filler, for the cleanest result.
How do I use it, and do I need clear coat?
For most small repairs, apply the paint in thin coats and let each coat dry properly.
Clear coat is usually not needed for small chips and scratches when the paint is applied carefully.
For the best result, do not wash the repaired area for 24–48 hours.
