PBC Black Pearl for the MG IM LS7
If the label on your MG reads PBC, the factory colour is Black Pearl, a metallic pearl black, in use since 2025.
It is also known as Black Mica, Pearl Black and Cezanne Black. MG used the same paint on the HS (from 2019).
This finish combines metallic flake and pearl. Work in thin coats, stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and let each coat dry before the next. Dark shades show every ridge: build the chip up until it is level, then polish once the paint has cured.
