Jeep calls this metallic red Deep Cherry Red Crystal. On the paint label it appears as code PRP, used 2011–2013 and 2015.
The same paint also appears as Rosso Avventuriero and under the codes JRP and P85.
The flake in metallic paint darkens if it is reworked while wet. One steady brush stroke per scratch and small needle dots for chips give the cleanest result. Light and bright shades cover primer slowly, so a deep chip needs two or three thin coats.
