BMW calls this metallic pearl black Citrin Black. On the paint label it appears as code X02, used 2013 and 2018–2020.
Citrinschwarz and Citrinschwarz II and C49, WC49 and WX02 refer to this same BMW paint.
This finish combines metallic flake and pearl. Work in thin coats, stroke scratches in one direction with the brush and let each coat dry before the next. Dark shades show every ridge: build the chip up until it is level, then polish once the paint has cured.
